SFF-8644 is the latest HD MinSAS connector design for implementing HD SAS external interconnection solutions.
The internal parts of HD MiniSAS of L SFF-8644 are SFF-8643 conforming to SAS 3.0, and also support 12Gb/s SAS data transmission speed.
Both L SFF-8644 and SFF-8643 can support SAS data up to 4 ports (4 channels).
Supports installation of full height and half height shield.
Details: Mini-SAS HD product is the next generation SAS storage interface, which can meet the requirements of 6 Gb/s and 12 Gb/s channel bandwidth, and meet or exceed the corresponding SAS 2.1 and SAS 3.0 specifications. Mini-SAS HD products offer higher port density (11mm port to port) than existing MiniSAS 2.0 products (19.01mm port to port).
